Mark W. Bridges, a cherished husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026, in his beloved hometown of Greenville. Born on October 30, 1953, Mark lived a life rich with meaning, marked by dedication, kindness, and a deep love for the simple joys that nurtured his soul.
For 35 years, for Michelin in quality control. This is where his unwavering commitment and meticulous nature contributed to the company’s steadfast reputation for excellence. His career was a testament not only to his work ethic but to his integrity and reliability—qualities that those closest to him recognized and admired deeply.
Beyond his professional achievements, Mark’s heart was devoted to his garden, a sanctuary where he found peace and joy. Gardening was truly his hobby, a passion that connected him intimately with nature—a love that had blossomed since he was a boy. As a child, he delighted in fishing, races, and the thrill of NASCAR. Like many, he carried a fervent spirit for Clemson football, cheering with enthusiasm and pride.

His presence was a constant reassurance; a testament to a man who understood the depth of connection beyond words.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Pam Bridges, whose companionship was a source of strength and joy. His living family warmly remembers him: daughter Jennifer Lewis and her family, including husband Rodney, and children Andre and Amaya, and Nick. Randy Bridges, his older brother, and his five children. Sylvia Bridges-Watson and her husband, Rev. Wayne Watson, along with their children, Jason and Jennifer. They carry forward his legacy with love and gratitude.
Mark was especially proud of his contributions as a major supporter of St. Jude, a cause close to his heart. This act of giving spoke volumes about his generous spirit and his desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
Though his daughters Ashley Knox and his parents, Jack Paul Bridges and Florence Bridges, as well as sister-in-law Clara, have passed before him, Mark’s life remains a bridge connecting past and present through treasured memories and enduring love.
Mark W. Bridges’s journey was one marked by steadfast devotion, a gentle soul who cherished life’s natural beauty and the bonds of family and friendship. He will forever be remembered for his warmth, his passions, and the quiet strength he offered the world.
