Martha Jane Gustin, 76, of Pelzer, passed away surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 22, 1943 to the late Joseph Ernest Wooten, Sr. and Letamae Reid Wooten.

Martha worked as a hairdresser for over 40 years. She loved to travel, do arts and crafts, floral arrangements, and baking friendship cakes. She loved her family, church, and fighting Ted over the lemon wedges.

She is survived by her children: Raye Frye (Woody), Don Gustin (Pam), son-in-law Dennis Toney, and step-daughter Cheryl Kelly (Doug and their three children); brother Ted Wooten (Darlene), sister Edith Sander (Leroy), sister-in-law Sonja Wooten; seven grandsons: Trey, Kenny, and Eric Frye, Aubrey Toney II, Chancellor, Roy, and Jamison Gustin; two granddaughters Desiree and Holly Gustin, fourteen great- grandchildren, and her beloved dog Missy.

In addition to her parents, Martha is preceded in death by her husband, daughter Denise Toney, sisters Marceline Self (Howard) and Victoria Anne Halas, and two brothers Joseph E. Wooten, Jr. and Marion Wooten (Sarah).

A visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 29, from 10am- 12pm in the Chapel of Graceland Mortuary. The funeral service will follow, with Pastor Ray Lowe and Preacher Jim Carpenter leading the service.
