Marvin Stone 79, of Greenville passed away Thursday January 14, 2016. Marvin was a son of the late Samuel and Bessie Medlin Stone. He was the loving husband for 35 years of the late Mary Ann Daniel Stone. He was retired from Michelin and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He served his country faithfully in the United States Army and proudly served during the Korean War.

Marvin is survived by three daughters: Angie Crowe and her husband Mark, Annette Randall and Tony Jeffcoat, and Kathy Green and her husband James, one son, Rodney Galloway and his wife Cindy, 14 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren, one brother, William Medlin, and one sister; Marie Medlin. He is preceded in death by a son, Billy Marshall Stone, and one sister, Nancy Bridgeman.

Funeral services will be Monday January, 18, 2016 at 2:00 pm at The Graceland Mortuary Chapel with visitation being held an hour prior at 1:00 pm, also at The Graceland Mortuary. Entombment will be held following services at Graceland Cemetery-WEST.
