Mary "Bootsie" Reed Conwell, 86, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 20, 2017. Mary was the daughter of the late Carl and Thelma Eskew Reed and the widow of James Conwell. Mary was a retired employee of Reeds Auto Parts. Mary had a tremendous love for the Lord, her family, and her friends. She was loved equally in return.

She is survived by five children: Roger Reed (Diane), Tony Reed (Debby), Debbie Thomas (Bobby Joe), John Reed (Denise), and Mary Ivey (Dwayne); 12 grandchildren: Tony Reed Jr. (Toshua), Jason Scott (Jennifer), Bobby Reed, Brandy Angell (Keith), Matthew Thomas, Nichole Reed (Buddy), Marc Thomas, Tiffany Jenkins (Mark), Zack Ivey (Christina), Johna Adams (Andrew), Tyler Thomas, and Justin Reed, and 19 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a son-in-law, Jay Scott, and daughters-in-laws, Ann and Nancy Reed. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Gwendolyn Scott, and one son, Bobby Reed.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm Sunday, September 24, 2017 at The Graceland Mortuary Chapel located at 4814 White Horse Road in Greenville. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until service time at The Graceland Mortuary. Interment will follow services at Graceland Cemetery-WEST
