Michael Roney Blessing, 72, of Piedmont, went to be with our Lord on October 11, 2020. He was born October 22, 1947 in Bradford, Pennsylvania to the late Harold and Margaret Blessing.

Michael served in the United States Army. He was in the Infantry Division as a demolitions expert in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged in 1973. Mike worked and lived in Alexandria, Virginia most of his life as a manager with Armstrong Property Management. He married the love of his life, Marsha Lee in 1979. They both retired and moved to South Carolina in 2013. Mike was an avid gold panner.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years Marsha Lee, brother and sister-in-law Hosea and Karen Marrett, two nieces Kristen Leigh Drye and McKenzie Marrett.
