Michael Ray Edmond, 61 of Piedmont passed away on Wednesday August 7, 2019. He was a son of Gae and the late Jewel Edmond.  He was the loving husband of Donna Edmond. Michael was born in Greenville, SC and was an extremely friendly talker, overly generous, always making up jokes and singing making us laugh.  He was a good man.  He was truly the greatest husband and the greatest daddy.  We always knew he loved us because he would always tell us.  He was saved, and we know we will see him again.

Also left to cherish his memory are, one son: Michael Edmond Jr. (Delina), one brother; Loyd "Buster" Edmond (Linda), two sisters; Gae "Scooter" Wood (Larry), Diane Riggins (Frank). Father and Mother-in-law; Clyde and Lala Ann Rackley, sisters-in-law; Janet Hudson (Gene) and Shelia Rackley. In addition to his father Michael was preceded in death by a sister; Carla Lane Powers

When he passed there is a good verse from a song: "What a day that will be, when my Jesus I shall see."  So, we'll just be seeing him after a little while.
