Miranda Parker Dixon, 71, of Taylors, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late Hugh Parker, Jr. and Iris Joyner Parker on January 05, 1949 in Birmingham, Alabama.

Miranda had a passion for cooking and decorating for the holidays. She was known for her quick wit, straight forwardness, kind heart, and infectious smile.

She is survived by her husband Jimmy Lee Dixon, son Jason Powell (Elbony), her stepson Chris Dixon (Jenny), and stepdaughter Tammy Dickerson (Gary); grandchildren: Lane, Dana, Makayla, and Chris. She also leaves behind a host of friends.

Miranda is preceded in death by her parents and brother Hugh Parker III.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 21, at 3:30 pm at Graceland Cemetery-WEST.
