Molly Ruth Gilliland Morton, 76 of Piedmont, widow of Donald Thomas Morton died Thursday September 24, 2015. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Hobart and Josephine Bryant Gilliland. Molly was a member of New Life Baptist Church.

She is survived by five children, Anita Holloway (Lewis), Dianne Morris (Tim), Jesse Hill (Shelia), Donald Scott Morton, and Betty Stancell (Ronnie); 12 grandchildren, Chris, Justin, Dillon, Sean, Tony Jr., Jessica, Siva, Kayla, Jessica, Jennifer, Amanda, Ashley, Rachel, and Kevin; 18 Great Grandchildren; a sister Lucille Hill; and a brother, George Gilliland. She was preceded in death by three sons, Richard Gilliland, Paul Morris, and Ronald Anthony Morton; a grandchild Robin Gilliland; two sisters, Mary McDonald and Rosa Jones; and a brother, John Gilliland.

Visitation will be held Thursday October 1, 2015 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at the Graceland Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held Friday October 2, 2015 at 3:00p.m. at the Graceland Mortuary Chapel. Interment will follow at the Graceland Cemetery-WEST
