In Loving Memory of Nobuyo Kanda Richards
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Nobuyo Kanda Richards, who left us peacefully on February 1, 2025, at the age of 76. Nobuyo was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Her gentle spirit touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

During her life, Nobuyo enjoyed oil and watercolor painting and established her own hair salon business in which she often mentioned the great conversations and friendships she had with her clients. She also took time to engage with the Japanese community by working at Yagoto Restaurant and Cultural Center and contributing to the Japanese Bon Festival.

Preceding Nobuyo in death is her husband Roger Norris Richards.  She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Richards; her son and daughter in law, Daniel Richards and Phavady Richards; her grandson, Nolan Richards; and extended family and friends who will miss her dearly.

Nobuyo's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
