Obituary
Paul W. Burnett Jr., 72, peacefully departed this world on December 28th, 2020. He was born on September 19th, 1948.
Paul was a wonderful husband of 52 years to the love of his life, Gayle Burnett. He was also a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was hard-working man who made a living as a long haul driver to provided for his family. Paul was an avid Star Trek fan and will be sorely missed by his family, friends, and his chihuahua, Poncho.
The family would like to thank the staff of Pruitt Health Care in Six Mile for the outstanding love and care they provided for him.
Paul is survived by his wife, Gayle Burnett; his daughter, Susan Clayton; his grandchildren: Tonya Blount, Caitlin Clayton, and Julia Clayton; his great grandchildren: Kirstin Jackson, Lainey Jackson, Ryan Rhodes, and Baby Girl Clayton; his sisters: Hope Cox and Michelle Burnett; and his brother, Dacus Burnett.
There will be a private graveside service on Friday, December 31st, 2020 at 3:30pm at Graceland Cemetery WEST.
