Richard Stanley McCarson

Richard Stanley McCarson, 71, passed away on June 5, 2011 at McCall Hospice House. He is the son of the late Paul William and Clovie Galloway McCarson. He is the husband of Joanne Cribb McCarson. Mr. McCarson was retired as a Bishop in the Church of God. He was also employed with the SC Dept. of Corrections. In addition to his wife of the home, he is survived by two children: Kimberly Lozano of Bakersfield, CA and Anthony McCarson of California; two step-children: Darla Taylor (Brandon) of Garner, NC and Misti Morgan of Taylors; two grandchildren and one step-grandchild: Blane Taylor of Garner, NC; a brother, Jerry Randolph McCarson of Winston, GA; a nephew, Dolph McCarson and a niece, Jillianne McCarson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 8, 2011 at 2 pm at Mauldin Church of God. There will be a visitation prior to the service at the church from 12:45 pm until 1:45 pm. The family will be at the residence.
