In loving memory of Richard Frederick Melanson who was born to Frederick L and Carolina A. Melanson in Cambridge, Massachusetts. On September 15, 2018, in Anderson, South Carolina at the young age of 69 he lost his battle to cancer and was taken from us too soon. Richard Melanson is an honored decorated Veteran. He was a Sergeant in the United States Air Force who served during the Vietnam War.

Richard Melanson was a loving Son, Brother, Father, Uncle, and Grandfather, but above all, he was a dedicated and loving family man who had a heart of gold. He will never be forgotten, as he will forever live on in the hearts of everyone he has touched along the vast ever-changing road that was his life. We will always remember and celebrate the wonderful man that was Richard Frederick Melanson as he flies high with the angels and watches over each of us.
