Richard Allen West, 64, was called home on January 8th, 2021. He was born on April 26th, 1956 in Hagerstown, Maryland to the late Warren West and the late Dorothy Dawson.

Richard was married to the love of his life, Stephanie West, for 26 years. He was a great husband and an amazing father and grandfather. His family was his pride and joy and his legacy will live on through his son and grandchildren. Richard will be remembered for his love of race cars, golf, tools, and visiting the Outer Banks in North Carolina. He was a hardworking man who provided for his family by working as an Optician for 40 years. His motto was "We made it through thick and thin". In the good and bad times, Richard was a pillar of strength, love, compassion, and knowledge to all of those who surrounded him.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Stephanie; his son, James West (Morgan); his grandchildren: Hunter and Benjamin West; his siblings: Kay Carpenter, Jeff West, Dave West, and Patty West. Richard is predeceased by both of his parents, Warren West and Dorothy Dawson.
