Robert Allen Bolt, Sr. of Easley, SC, passed peacefully into the arms of the lord on September 9th, 2021 at Cottingham house in Seneca SC.  He was born on October 24th, 1942 in Greenwood, SC to the late Johnnie Bolt and Permelia Bolt.

Robert is survived by his wife, Brenda Bolt; children, D ana Taylor(Jeff), Lisa Broome (Chris), Robert bolt jr. (Thao), and Jonathan Bolt (Jessica); Grandchildren, Amber Elesia Jane McGowan, Krista Nicole Broome, Allison Victoria Bolt, William Harborson Bolt, Hannah Lee Bolt, Isabella Bolt, Candi Taylor, Dylan Taylor, and Justin Taylor; Great Grandchildren,  Averie Jane McGowan, Parker Shepherd, Carson Shepherd, and Bentley Taylor; and Brother, John Bolt.  He is preceeded in death by his parents Johnie and Permelia Bolt; his first wife, Lucy Jane Brookshire; and daughter-in-law, Linh Thy Bolt

Robert worked at General Electric as a machinist for 38 years and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Greenville where he had a profound love for his church and church family.  He loved spending his free time outdoors walking, particularly in the mountains.
