Obituary

Ruby Francis Queen Ammons 78 of Greenville passed away Friday May 17, 2019. She was born in Gaffney, SC, a daughter of the late Albert and Virginia (Wood) Queen. Ruby was widowed by her first husband Joe D. Allison, she found love again, and was married to the late Nealie Ammons. Ruby loved Jesus and was actively involved at Tanglewood Baptist Church. She was retired from Donaldson Center as an office manager and spent many years of her accounting career at J.P Stevens. Ruby lived and left behind a beautiful legacy of faith and family, when she was welcomed into Glory by her parents, and her two brothers; Walter and Floyd.

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters; Larinda Allison and Deb Rhodes (Steve), grandchildren; Jason (Crystal) and Tyler Buchanan, Alison Rhodes-Jenkins (Fontaine) Adam Rhodes (Laura), great-grand"loves" Hannah, Nathaniel (Madison) and Cassidy Buchanan, Nazyr and Sella Rhodes-Jenkins, four sisters; Hazel Peay, Miriam Q. Burgess (Joe), Sandra Q. Mason (John), and Betty Maynor (Larry)

Funeral service will be held at 1:00pm at The Graceland Mortuary Chapel.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Tanglewood Baptist Church in Ruby's name.
