Ruby Y. Holmes, 92, passed on September 16, 2019. She was born in Pickens, a daughter of the late Jim York and Mary Davis.

Ruby is survived by three daughters: Julia McJunkins (Jerry) of Greenville, Lula Shirley Anderson, and Kathleen McElrath (Anthony) of Honeapath; and three sons: Jerry Holmes of Greenville, James holmes of Belto, and Michael Westbrook (Brenda) of Greenville; four brothers: Woodrow, Alvin, Wayne, and Calvin York; four sisters: Barbara Jean Boles, Eloise Bagwell, Earline Gladine, and Dolly Atkins, as well as many, very much loved grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Ruby is preceded in death by her husband Jim Holmes; brother Thomas York, and two sisters Lois Moon and Lora Knight.

There will be a Visitation on September 18, 2019 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Graceland Mortuary, followed by a Service to start at 2:00 PM.
