Rufus C. Neas, 93,  passed on,Friday, June 28, 2019. Rufus was born in Greeneville, Tennessee to Haskell P. Neas and Anna Mae Lamb.

Rufus married Viola White and they had two daughters and a son. He was a past president of the National Begonia Society and an avid motorcyclist. Rufus was a theater manager in the entertainment industry for many years as well as a carpet salesman for J.P. Stevens.

Rufus is survived by his wife: Viola White Neas; son: Phil Neas (Sheila); daughter: Janet Burkett: six grandchildren,  eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Rufus is also preceded in death by a daughter: Anna Neas Keyes.

The funeral service for Mr. Neas will take place in the Chapel at Graceland Mortuary on July 5, 2019 at 12:30 PM. There will be a private family burial.
