Sella "Suzie" Carnes, 62, of Easley, SC, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025. She was born on June 28, 1962, beloved daughter of Geraldine Whitmire McCall and the late David "Corky" McCall.

Sella was a woman who loved everyone, always putting the needs of others before her own. She had a gift for crafting and took joy in making things for her family and friends. Suzie was the kindest, most selfless person. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandson and her children; she loved all her nieces and nephews as if they were her own. She touched the lived of anyone who met her. Fiercely independent, Suzie faced many health challenges through the years, but faced everyday with strength and determination.

In addition to her mother, Suzie is survived by her son, Michael Dale Carnes; daughter, Crystal Gilliland (Shane); adoring grandson, Eian Gilliland; siblings: Michael McCall, Frankie McCall (Leigh), and Patty McCall. In addition to her father, she is predeceased by her sisters, Robin Case and Connie Valdez.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Graceland Mortuary, 4814 White Horse Rd., Greenville, SC 29611. The family will receive friends and loved ones an hour prior, beginning 1:00 PM.
