Sherman "Papa" Galloway, 80 of Greenville, passed away at Greenville Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, December 26, 2018. Born in Greenville SC, Papa worked at the Mayfair textile mill in Easley for 38 years. He was an active member at Welcome Baptist Church in Greenville. He loved to work on his 1986 Mercury Grand Marquis. Papa enjoyed playing golf every Monday for years with friends. Papa also enjoyed gardening and tending to his rose bushes.

Papa is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Shirley Galloway. One daughter; Vilmarie Allsion, two grandchildren; Daniel and Victoria Allison, and two great grandchildren; Angelo and Eliana, and one sister Linda Carson

Papa is loved and truly missed by his friends and family. His memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, December 30 at Welcome Baptist Church in Greenville.
