She was a Navy veteran, having served a year with pride and honor. Her service exemplified her enduring commitment to duty and country.

A true hippie at heart, she embraced the freedom and spirit of the era with a love of horses and a remarkable talent for training Dobermans, creatures that mirrored her own tenacity and loyalty.
