Shirley "Nanie" Ann Galloway, 75, of Greenville passed away at Greenville Memorial Hospital on February 7, 2019.

Shirley was a daughter of the late Fred J. and Dorothy (Finley) Forrester. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years Sherman Galloway.
Nanie always called herself a homemaker, and indeed she was. Anytime she was around there was a sense of peace and a feeling of home. She took care of everyone. Nanie cooked, cleaned, ran errands, took kids back and forth to school, she did a little bit of everything and she never slowed down or complained. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her family. Shirley was also an active member at Welcome Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter Vilmarie Allison, grand children Daniel and Victoria, and great grand children Angelo and Eliana.


Graveside Services will be held at Graceland Cemetery-WEST at 1:30 pm Thursday February 14, 2019.
