Obituary

Sylvia Elizabeth Eddleman, 80, was welcomed in to the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, February 3rd, 2021. She was born on July 26, 1940 to the late Blease Cole Godfrey and the late Rosa Lee Bright of Greenville, South Carolina.

Sylvia was a fun, loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She had an adventurous spirit and always looked forward to going to the beach and making memories with the ones she loved most. She was passionate about baseball and football, especially the Atlanta Braves and South Carolina Gamecocks. She also was a fan of Nascar. Sylvia enjoyed reading Amish and inspirational books. She was a member of the Carpenter's House Church in Powdersville. She will be sorely missed by all those that had the pleasure of knowing such a wonderful woman.

Sylvia's memories will be fondly remembered by her children: Dianne Hiott, Timothy Eddleman (Debra), Louie Eddleman, Jr., and Roger Eddleman; siblings: Betty Jean Adams, James "Bud" Godfrey, Donnie Godfrey, and Deborah Boiter; 8 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

Sylvia is predeceased by her husband, Louie M. Eddleman, Sr., her parents: Blease Godfrey and Rosa Lee Bright; her son, Larry Eddleman; and her brother, Joel Godfrey.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 9th from 12:00pm-1:00pm in the chapel of Graceland Mortuary. Graveside service will follow at 1:00pm at Graceland Mortuary - WEST.
