Teresa Temple Ashley-Barron, 53, of Greenville, SC, went home to be with The Lord on August 25, 2024. She was born in Anderson, SC, to the late Sammie Loie and Roy Carol Ashley.

Teresa was a graduate of Carolina High School. After graduation, she pursued and conquered a career as a successful and dedicated office manager.

Teresa had a huge heart for animals. Over the years, she adopted, rescued and homed many fur babies. Teresa was witty and creative. Her laugh was infectious and will be greatly missed.

Teresa is survived by her husband, Patrick Barron; sisters, Royette Hastings (Bailey) and Velvet Gresham; brother, Rickey Ashley (Adrian); godchildren, Keegan and Santana Hommerding; her best friend, Jeannie Hommerding; her beloved fur babies; many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Grady Stewart; her brother-in-law, Raymond Barron; and her sister-in-law, Terri Barron.

A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Graceland Mortuary, 4814 White Horse Rd., Greenville, SC 29611. Her family will receive friends and loved ones an hour prior, beginning 12:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, her husband asks that you plant a tree in her memory.
