Thomas Leroy Gilliland, Sr., 68, of Greenville, passed away at his residence. He was born a son to the late David Lewis Gilliland and Georgia Mae Alexander on April 06, 1952. He was a man that loved his music. He wrote and recorded music.

Thomas is survived by his children:Thomas Leroy Gilliland, Jr. (Heather), Adam Gilliland (Kay), Lisa Gambrell, Jason Gilliland, Michael Gilliland (Rita), Melissa Gilliland, and Chad Gilliland; four sisters: Diane Bowers, Mary Redden Raines, Blanche McClain, and Elizabeth Miller; 28 grandchildren: Christopher, Casie, David James "DJ", Zachary, Austin, Christian, Matthew Brayden, Summer Gonzales, Matthew, Marissa, James, Joshua, Dallas, Kassidy, Jaden, Braeden, Isiah, Sabrina, Dylan, Makayla, Makyah, Madison, Jordan, Lil' Chad, Neveah, Devon, Brayden, and Bailey; as well as 11 great grandchildren: Zyler, Rayna, Jace, Harmony, Nyllah, Elijah, Justiah, Malikah, Lennox, J.T., and Blakely.

In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by Everett Holt, David Gilliland, Johnny Gilliland, Rodger Gilliland, and Dorothy Jean Gilliland.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2020 from 12-3 pm in the Chapel of Graceland Mortuary, with the service to follow.
