Tony J. Bowens, 69, of Greenville, SC received his wings on Saturday the 31st of May 2025 at his home. Born in Easley, SC. He was the youngest child of the late Charlie M. and Bernice Webb Bowens.

His wife, Theresa "Lynne" Thomas; grandson, Charles "Charlie" C. Phillips; and furry baby, Tessa were with him every step of the way.

Tony was preceded in death by his siblings: Charles Henry Bowens, Ray C. Bowens, Linda Dickenson, and Bernice Ferguson.

Also surviving are his stepdaughter, Natasha L Phillips of Greenville, SC; granddaughter, Alexandra O. Phillips of Greenville, SC; siblings: Herbert (Mary Jean) and Larry Bowen of Easley, SC, and Clara (Marlon) B. Carter of El Paso, TX, and all his nieces and nephews.

Tony was 18+ years clean and sober. He also loved supporting others through their journey towards and after achieving their sobriety. He also loved photography and was self taught. Tony enjoyed spending time with his wife, family, and friends. He was a Kansas City Chiefs football fan and a Golden State Warriors basketball fan.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at Graceland Mortuary, 4814 White Horse Rd., Greenville, SC 29611. The family will receive friends and loved ones an hour prior, beginning 1:00 PM.
