In Loving Memory of Tony M. McCurley
September 8, 1957 – February 20, 2026

Tony M. McCurley went home to be with Jesus on February 20, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love that will live on in every life he touched. He was more than a father, grandfather, and friend — he was a protector, a hard worker, and the kind of man whose love you never had to question because he made sure you felt it every single day.

Tony was a Harley-riding, weekend peanut-selling man who lived life with grit, heart, and authenticity. He had a true passion for fishing and especially loved catfishing, where he found peace, quiet, and the simple joy of the water. He found freedom on the open road, joy in the little moments, and connection with everyone he met. Selling his peanuts wasn't just something he did — it was something that made him known and loved by so many. He never met a stranger, only friends he hadn't talked to yet.

He is survived by his wife, Judy McCurley; his daughters, Brandy Faulkner and her husband Corey, Melissa McCurley, and Tonya McCurley; his grandchildren, Brandon Faulkner (Savanna Dunn), Courtney Banks (Brent Banks), Alyssa Smith (Cole Smith), and Blake Hodges (Madison Kay); and his precious great-grandchildren, Willow Grace Smith, Weston Smith, Hadley Faulkner, Hazel Faulkner, Wrenley Banks, and Chosen and Paxton Kay.

To his family, he was everything — the man who loved them first, stood beside them always, and never let them doubt how proud he was of them. His voice, his laughter, his advice, and his presence are treasures that will be carried in their hearts forever.

Though our hearts are deeply broken, we find comfort knowing he is finally at peace — whole, healed, and free. His ride here may have ended, but his love never will.

The family would like to thank everyone for the prayers, kindness, food, visits, and support during this difficult time. Every act of love has meant more than words can express.

Ride free, Tony. You will always be loved, always missed, and never forgotten.

A visitation for Tony will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Graceland Mortuary. The burial of ashes will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Graceland West Cemetery, with services taking place at 4814 White Horse Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29611.
