V.W. "Buddy" Watson, 91, of Greer, passed away at his home on Monday August 14, 2017. Mr. Watson is preceded in death by his loving wife, Earline Simpson Watson. He was of the Baptist faith and a U.S. Navy Veteran, having served his country during World War II in the South Pacific.

Buddy is survived by one son, Danny E. Watson (Odete), of Taylors; two daughters, Vonda Burnett, of Greer and Janice Culbertson (Calvin) of Ware Shoals; seven grandchildren, eight great- grandchildren, a brother, Clyde F. Watson, and a sister, Rosie Moreno.

Visitation will be held at The Graceland Mortuary on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 pm. Funeral services to follow at 2:00 pm. Burial will be held at Graceland Cemetery-WEST.
