Viola Ruth Neas, 91, entered into her eternal home on Wednesday, January 13th, 2021. She was born on December 29th, 1929 in Bristol, Virginia to the late Cecil White and the late Abigale L. Marshal.

Viola has now been gloriously reunited with Rufus, her loving husband of 70 years and 4 months. She will be remembered for her profound love for her husband, children, grandchildren, and family. Viola had an entertaining, funny personality that made it easy for those around her to be drawn in to such a wonderful woman. She always made sure that her family was extremely well taken care of. She provided for them by working as a bookkeeper for over 20 years. The legacy of Viola's kind heart, strong work ethic, and zest for life will live on through her children and grandchildren.

Left to cherish the memory of Viola are her children, Phil Neas (Sheila), and Janet Burkett; her grandchildren: Belinda Renault (Josh), Eddie Neas, Jr. (Sarah), and Richard Dixon (Jennifer); and her sister, Barbara Ann Pyatte. She is predeceased by her parents, Cecil White and Abigale Marshal; her husband, Rufus C. Neas; her daughter, Anna Keyes; her sister, Louise Wolfe; and her brother, Buck White.

There will be a private graveside service on Friday, January 15th, 2021 at 1:00pm at Graceland Cemetery- WEST.

The family would also like to add that since Viola's service will be held on a weekday, they are aware that some people may not be able to make it to the service on such short notice. They appreciate your thoughts and prayers at this time.
