Wyndle Bryant McConnell, born June 8, 1941, was healed and welcomed into the arms of her loving Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, on February 17, 2026.

Wyndle was the devoted and beloved wife of James Murray McConnell for 50 wonderful years. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love, faith, and partnership.

She will be remembered for her deep love of others and her joyful spirit. Wyndle was a true friend and an inspiration to everyone she met. To know her was to laugh in her presence. If she was part of your life, she undoubtedly made you smile. Her warmth, quick wit, and genuine kindness left a lasting mark on all who knew her.

One of her proudest moments was receiving her "PHD" — her Parker High School Diploma — on June 6, 1959. She cherished her Parker High School roots and spent the past 42 years helping plan class reunions, keeping friendships alive and memories strong. Some of her happiest times were spent along Ocean Drive beach shore, especially at Fat Harold's, shagging the night away with her Parker High friends.

Her greatest and most treasured accomplishment was raising her daughter, Tammy. Anyone welcomed into Tammy's life quickly became one of Wyndle's own. She had a mother's heart not only for Tammy, but for all of Tammy's friends throughout the years. To so many, she was more than a friend's mom — she was a second mother. She truly was a mother to all.

Wyndle is survived by her only daughter, Tammy; her "favorite" son-in-law, Brian; and her precious four-legged granddog, Lucy Lu (Red on the Head).

A celebration of Wyndle's life will be held on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at Graceland Mortuary. Visitation will begin at 12:30 p.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Graceland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to a charity of your choice, reflecting Wyndle's generous spirit and love for others.
