Zinnie Shearon (Wallin) Aljoe, 88, native of Greenville, SC, arrived safely in heaven on November 17, 2025. Mrs. Aljoe was the daughter of the late Juanita Hodgden and Horace Wallin and the former wife of the late Robert B. Aljoe, Sr.. She was of the Baptist faith.

Zinnie is survived by her son, Robert B. Aljoe, Jr.; daughters, Darlene Kowalewski Aljoe of Greenville, SC and Sally Sherer Shiveley of Ohio; brothers, Melvin and Jimmy both of Greenville, SC; sisters, Francis of Greenville, SC and Dee of Easley, SC; seven grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Doug and Sam; son, David; and daughter, Twila.

Zinnie was a graduate of Parker High School in Greenville, SC. Her calling in life was raising children. She helped care for her brothers and sisters at the family home until she married and started her own family with three children. In one continuous form or another she also cared for grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will always be remembered as a firm and loving mother and grandmother.

There will be a simple graveside service 12:00 PM Monday, November 24, 2025 at Graceland East Memorial Park, 2206 Woodruff Rd., Simpsonville, SC 29681.
